We realized the demand for a unique Master Agent who could not only complete the nearly impossible task of building effective interactions with key service providers, but excel at building long lasting, viable relationships.
For over a decade, these same relationships not only allow X4 to provide our sales partners with the best technology solutions available in the marketplace today, they ensure that their customers have a remarkable care experience.

Steve Braverman, Co-Founder & CEO
After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University, I realized two things very quickly: I was drawn toward the cellular and telecommunications industry and that eventually I wanted to own my own company. I started my career with a large cellular company, studied the ins and outs of how this ever-changing industry was structured and how it worked and its shortcomings. From the knowledge gained, and a whole lot of persistence, I formed, unknowingly at the time, a telecom master agency. In 2003, I was fortunate enough find two like-minded business people in the telecom industry. We joined our three companies and formed X4 Communications. As CEO, my sole focus is maintaining our relationships with our vendor and sales partner groups. I make sure that we are partnered with the best in class vendors and that we are providing our sales partners with the tools, training and support they require to succeed.
I am married and have three wonderful children. I split my time between Chicago and Florida and in my spare time I enjoy flying airplanes, racing automobiles and traveling.
DJ Fioretti, Co-Founder & CFO
As a founder of X4 Solutions, I make it my job to make sure that our partners are paid properly every month. It is of the absolute importance to me to the point that I directly oversee any commission inquiry to ensure that every partner receives their commission. It is their money and we know that and we support that! I am very proud that while X4 Solutions has evolved over the last 10 years, our core values have remained intact, including, transparency, simplicity, and fairness. Please know that I am happy to assist or talk anytime!
On a personal level, I spend a large majority of my time “attempting “to train my dog Bella, with little, to no success. I am married and the proud father to four wonderful daughters. Life is grand!
Stephen Snure, Co-Founder & CIO
I’ve spent my career in the electronic world working in computer and peripheral service, software design and telecommunications sales and support. I have been fortunate to work for a small-to-mid size company, a large company and a Fortune 500 firm. My roles within these vastly diverse organizations gave me insight both in culture and operations, guiding me to take best practices learned to co-found X4 Solutions.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and reading about current domestic and international events, economics and statistics. I also like listening to various genres of music, smooth/contemporary jazz in particular, and playing the drums.
Curt Allen, President
With over 20 years in telecom and technology and the last 15 in the channel, I am passionate about working with partners to help grow their business. My favorite part of our model is the aligned goals of our partners and us. We build our business by helping you build yours. If you have an idea that you think could be mutually profitable, I want to hear about it. I am a voracious reader from business, self-help, to fiction and love to hear about great reads from friends. When not out on the road with partners I live in Atlanta with my wife of 17 years, my 14 year old son, and 2 dogs, where we enjoy lacrosse (I coach. He plays.), boating, wakeboarding, golf and fitness.
Julie Gilbert, Senior Vice President - Sales Operations
Having worked in Channel Operations for over 18 years in multiple accounting, marketing and IT roles, I joined X4, right after inception, in 2004. As SVP of Operations, my competitive drive keeps me on the constant lookout for new ways to improve our business and assist our Sales Partner Group. It is my desire and daily goal to always find new sales strategy, operations processes, or innovative ways to catch commission discrepancies.
When not working, you can find me cooking, canning, gardening, reading or playing with our silver Labrador Retriever and beautiful energetic Grandchildren.
Kelly Barber, Vice President - Carrier Solutions
Being one of the newbies with X4 at only 8 months in the role of VP, Carrier Relations, I am not a newbie to the telecommunications / cable industry. 35 years in Sales Operations for Carrier, National, Partner and Retention development and management.
My husband and I have recently relocated to “the beach” and in our spare time enjoy playing golf and traveling.
Todd Peterson, Senior Vice President - Sales
With over 20 years in the telecom/IT industry, I joined X4 in 2004. The constant through all of the advancements in technology is that relationships still matter. We all prefer to work and socialize with people that we like, trust and where we feel a sense of partnership.
Born and raised in Chicago, I now live in the ‘burbs with my wife and three kids. When the schedule is clear, we enjoy trips to family homes in Door County and Delavan, WI. In my downtime, I live for watching sports, reading and pretending to golf.
Todd Thomas, Area Vice President - National Sales
I joined X4 in 2006 after spending 5 years at Cbeyond starting in Denver as a direct sales rep and culminating with running the Channel Sales Division in the Chicago Market. After joining X4 I moved back to Denver where I currently live and manage our Strategic Partners and VARS Nationwide. When I am not working I enjoy traveling, coaching my sons in sports and skiing, mountain biking, camping and hiking in the beautiful Colorado outdoors with my wife and 2 sons.
Gina Kennedy, Director of Partner Sales & Marketing
I live in a suburb of Atlanta GA with my amazing husband, 2 teenage sons, 3 rescue dogs, a cat (who was also rescued but doesn’t care) and a LONG LIVING goldfish named Ted.
I’ve been in the technology world for about 20 years (I started when I was 2) and love what I do. The best part of my role at X4 is the opportunity to empower our sales partners with the tools they need to be grow THEIR business.
During my “off time” I like to hang with my family, go to the dog park, play tennis, garden and entertain in my home.

I joined X4 almost 5 years ago and have loved every minute of it. The best part of my day is watching my partners grow their businesses, with our joint efforts. Every day brings a new challenge, fun but exciting.
As a single mother to 2 active boys, I don’t have a lot of downtime but when I do, you will find me digging in the dirt or curled up with a book.

I’ve been in the telecom industry for a number of years. My role at X4 is the team lead on the cable side, which has been challenging as well as rewarding. My proudest accomplishment has been raising my 3 kids into adulthood. They are the light of my life! In my spare time, I’m working on my house. I love DIY projects!
Megan Norman, Lead Partner Relationship Manager
With 13 year in the Telecommunication field, I joined Steve Braverman’s company in 2001. I have been with X4 since the beginning. I head up several of our key carrier relationships. I am married and the mother of 2 great kids. It’s going to be a busy summer with a soon to be 5 year old girl and a soon to be 1 year old boy. When I am not in the office I love to be outside working in the yard or just hanging out with friends on our new deck.

15 years and counting in the telecom industry. Blessed to be part of the X4 family since 2008. I love the daily challenge this career path brings along with the knowledge behind the ever changing technology.
Mother to a wonderful young man who just completed his 1st year at the University of Iowa. In my free time I enjoy running, attending sporting events, and spending time with friends and family.
Shandra Carter, Commission Analyst/Revenue Assurance
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, I attended Stockbridge High School and graduated in 1994. Soon after, I started attending Advanced Career Training to become a Certified Medical Assistant while I worked as a Customer Service Specialist at Jiffy Lube. In 1996, I was promoted to Assistant Manager where I supervised the Service Technicians, handled various office duties and assisted with increasing sales. In 2001, I started working for Risk Management Alternatives on the Consumer Call Team where I handled customer account resolutions and soon after was asked to move to their Client Support Team, where I served as the primary liaison between our clients and collection management team.
Once the company was acquired by NCO Financial Systems in 2006, I transferred to the Client Accounting Department where I handled balancing and reconciling client files and Accounts Payables for our Attorney Network. After 13 years of working in the Collection/Receivables industry, in 2013 I assumed the position with X4 Solutions as their Commissions Analyst by supporting our Sales Partners in finding resolutions to commissions’ disputes and assisting our IT department with file management to ensure our Sales Partners quality service and support with their accounts.
Nicole Van Wyk, Cable Support Specialist
I am new to the X4 team, joining in Nov 2013 to assist in the cable department for partner support and order management. I am married and have two young children, who keep me busy running to activities with most of my free time. I also enjoy camping, gardening, boating, cheering on the MN Vikings and spending time with my family and friends.

I joined X4 Feb 2014 so I am new to the company but I have over 15 years in the telecom industry. I love telecom for the constant changes and challenges that are put in front of me and work life is never boring. I have been married for 19 years to a wonderful husband and I am also a mother of 2 boys, a very busy 13 year old and now a 2 month old. When I am not busy with work or taking care of my family I am always outside with either my hands in the dirt or lounging on the deck.
